According to Times of India,The “dreaded” Maoist captured by joint forces on Wednesday the only one apparently caught alive at the encounter site where eight rebels lay dead is a 20-year-old mute and mentally challenged youth from Duli village. No wonder, police haven’t been able to make him speak. In what may cast a shadow on the way the police are rounding up suspects, Rameshwar Murmu has been branded a hardcore Maoist and slapped with the most stringent of charges, including sedition under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA). The Midnapore court on Thursday remanded him in 15 days judicial custody. While on Wednesday, the cops claimed the “captured Maoist” was too stunned at the loss of so many comrades to speak and admitted that he hadn’t said a word, Rameshwar’s father, Bankim Murmu, cried, “My son can’t speak. He may scream if you hit him, but he can’t speak a word.” The Murmus live right behind Wednesday’s encounter site. Bankim says Rameshwar suffers from congenital epilepsy and developed ENT problems at a very young age leading to loss of speech and hearing. He produced medical records to support his claim. “He can only make barely legible sounds. It affected his behaviour and he lost his mental balance. That is why he could not pursue education beyond class IV,” a tearful Bankim told TOI on Thursday. Bankim owns a mud house and a small plot of land on the edge of Ranjya forest where the bloody encounter took place on Wednesday. His elder son, Ram, works in a factory in Orissa.

The most likely reason is entirely different, They want to restart Reliance and Essar petrol pumps again. Now with the government providing them with market oriented prices, they can restart their pumps and earn in crores. Of course they must have paid a heavy price to….you know who.

Different Maratha (also called as Rastriks or Maha-rathis or Mahrattas) rulers during Medieval period (before 12th century) include Satavahana and Rashtrakuta. This vast empire declined gradually after the third battle of Panipat (1761); by 1818, all of present-day India had fallen to the British East India Company.

નગીનદાસભાઈ તમે એ દંડકઅરણ્ય માં ક્યારેય ગયા નથી કે જવાના પણ નથી, જ્યાં અરુંધતીએ જઈને રાતો ની રાતો ગુજારી છે, ત્યાં જઈને, જો હિમ્મત્ત હોય તો, લખો, પણ તમે હવે આ વયે ત્યાં જવાનાનથી. જો તમે પોતે ત્યાં જઈને રીપોર્ટીંગ નાં કરવાના હો તોઆવો આક્ષેપ તો નાં મુકો તેમના પર. તેઓ એ તો ચોખ્ખું કીધું છે કે આ એ લોકોએ નથી કર્યું. આ તો CPM વાળાએ ચૂંટણી જીતવા કર્યું છે. તમને ખબર છે કેમ મમતાએ CBI ની માંગણી કરી? કાઈ તો કારણ હશેને ભાઈ શ્રી નગીનદાસજી. anyway જરા આટલું વાંચી જજો, આંખમાંથી આંસુ નાં ટપકે તો કહેજો. જો તમે સાચા ગુજરાતી હશો અને કોઈનોયે પગાર ખાધા વગર લખતા હશો તો આ વાચ્યા પછી તમે તમારું મંતવ્ય બદલશો, મને ખાતરી છે. અને હું હમેશા તમારી સાથે ચર્ચા કરવા તય્યાર છું. સાહેબ.
આજે આખી દુનિયા જાણે છે કે સુભાષબાબુની પહેલી પ્રેરણાનું બિંદુ ગાંધીજ હતા. તેમ છતાં તેમણે શસ્ત્રો ઉઠાવ્યા અને દિમાપુર સુધી આવ્યા. સાહેબ ઈતિહાસ કેમ ભૂલો છો? આજના કોઈ ગાંધીના અનુયાયીઓ જો સુભાષબાબુને રસ્તે જવા માંગતા હોય તો તમે કે કોઈ ઉદ્યોગપતિ કે કોઈ રાજકારણી તેમણે રોકી શકવાનો છે? અને અરુંધતીએ તો મરાઠી પત્રકાર પરિષદમાં ખુલ્લું આવ્હાન આપું છે કે હું સરહદ ની આ પાર છું. મને પકડો અને જેલ માં નાખો.

મેં અરુંધતી ને વાચી. સમજી. અને પછી લખી રહ્યો છું. મારા મિત્રો કદાચ, કદાચ, મને કદી માફ નહિ કરે આ લખવા બદલ, ગઈ કાલ સુધી હું એમને ધિક્કારતો હતો. આજે એમની વાત સાંભળીને આંખોમાંથી પાણી વહી ગયા. શું આજે આપણે એટલા બધા પડી ગયા છીએ કે તીર કામઠાની સામે આપણે સેના અને દારૂગોળો વાપરવાની વાત કરી રહ્યા છીએ? શરમ આવે છે ચિદમ્બરમને? તમે હજી કેટ કેટલાને મારશો? કેટકેટલા નિર્દોષોને મારશો? હવે તો બસ કરો. તમે એક DandakaraNya ને પાંચ પાંચ રાજ્યો વચ્ચે વેહ્ચી દીધું. કઈ શરમ નો આવી તમને? તમે એ લોકોને ખુલ્લે આમ મારી રહ્યા છો જે ફક્ત તીર કામઠા લઈને પોતાની જિંદગી જીવી રહ્યા છે? અને તમે એ લોકો સામે તમારી આર્મી ઉતારવાની વાત કરી રહ્યા છો? જો આજે એ લોકોની સાથે અરુંધતી નાં હોતે તો એ લોકોનું કોણ હોત? આજે આટલુંજ આગળ હવે પછી. પણ એક વાત સમઝી લેજો તમે સહુ, અરુંધતી ગાંધીનો અવતાર થઇ ને આવી છે. નાં માનતા હો તો આ વાંચી જજો. પછી તમારા કોમેન્ટ્સ આપજો.
